Northern Light International School (NLIS) is a private, independent school that serves communities in and around Tamale as well as the northern part of Ghana and beyond. As such, NLIS boasts of learners from diverse geographic areas, tribes and religious backgrounds. The school opened its doors in September 2018 to include Pre-school (Crèche, Nursery and Kindergarten) and Primary School (Grade 1 – Grade 4).
